Children’s literature has had an immeasurable impact on our society throughout generations. I was honored to be chosen to illustrate the conference’s official poster. I wanted to convey children enjoying a book on the subway, but being interrupted by book-stealing monsters! As for the colors and text, the cool and warm colors show the contrast of the children and monsters, and the type reflects the fun, playful scene.
